miles back from work using normal roads no off roading so wondered if any knew if this bike would last a while plus im 18st muscle heavy and need to know if this would be a suitable bike to use ? its the front suspension version ?

It will be fine for what you need but I would get some slimmer semi slick tyres .if you are staying on the road they will make the ride that little bit faster and more enjoyable. There are plenty available on ebay.
However as it is at the cheaper end of the market it will take a hammering if you commute every day.When it wears out , if you are still keen on riding every day then you would be better to invest your money into a new bike than to service/repair the old one. Best place to go is a bike shop rather than a catalogue and they will be able to advise you. Good luck with the riding and hope you stick with it.

Don’t buy it.
the bike should be fine for what you are using it for, i would just make sure that you regularly clean and lubricate the working parts like the derailleur and the chain.
