well, most of the people that ride bikes around the campus I go to ride mountain bikes. I also notice that they have to dodge pedestrians a lot, which means they have to get off into the grass and rocky areas. I know that road bikes have a smaller tire that will go flat a lot easier than the thicker tires on mountain bikes. A moutain bike’s tires will be able to hold up better under any condition.
Mountain Bike..Definitely.
A road bike not a racing bike is best.
You could go with the mountain bike but just put street tires on it, less resistance and easier to pedal. narrower racing tires tend to get stuck in every liitle crack or grate in the road surface.
Try a hybrid. Best of both worlds.
try something with a motor on it, this is the motorcycle section
