Nite Rider, Princton Tec, Light & Motion, CatEye & Jet are a few brands that come to mind. Check out http://www.universalcycles.com/index.php They carry many different brands and have good pricing.
PS: Be prepared to spend some money if you want a quality light set. They can be expensive.
ones that work would be a start!!
You might want to try kudusbikes.com or so. They have quite some powerful yet expensive lights which might suit your purposes. Happy biking.

The more expersive ones are best.
I’ve used Cateye in the past and they’re pretty good. The snag is, to get a worthwhile set will be quite expensive and you will soon get fed up with a cheap set.
If this is something you’re thinking of taking up then see if you can borrow a set to find out if you’re really into night biking. If you are then get a decent set.
Get a head torch as well because the bike light obviously only points the same way as the handlebars and, if you’re going uphill or over a rooty track, the light will be all over the place.
Good luck!
These are a good set of lights, also at a good price:

Hope this helps
