I've heard complaints (on internet reviews) that ever since Huffy bought out Mongoose, the Mongoose bikes have not been as good quality as before. Is this true?

I recently purchased a 21 speed Mongoose mountain bike and I seem to have misplaced the manual. On the right handle bar the shifter goes from 1-7. The other is labled by L-H with several dashes inbetween. What do the dashes mean and how do I used them correctly? Thanks a bunch!

My six year old son has a mongoose bike, be complains that he does not go as fast as the other kids in the neighbor hood, when I flipped the bike over and used the pedals the back tire does not continously go like most other bikes, what should I do?

this guy found this mongoose bmx bike in the tip and he fixed it up... i want to buy it and he said he'd figure out how much everything cost that he put on it... He bought a new seat and post and tyres and also he bought i think he called it a crank, the flat round bit that the chain goes around and the pedals come out of... my b/f thinks its a mongoose pro... How much do you think these bits would cost???
