I've been looking for a vintage folding schwinn bike basket, the kind that attaches to the back of your bike. I found one, but it's plus shipping and i'm a bit reluctant to pay that. Anyone have any ideas where I could find one for cheap besides ebay and craigslist?

Couldn’t find one vintage, but found them new. You need a rack already on your bike. You also would have to buy these for each side you wanted them on. But they are steel, made in the good old US of A, durable, and extremely practical. You can even get them direct from the manufacturer for $24 for one or $44 for 2, see last link.
