    1) Go to a local bike shop. They should be trained to fit you because their business depends on you being happy.
    2) Any frame you might buy at a bike shop (not Walmart or Target, etc.) will be strong enough to hold you unless you weigh 400 lbs. And, most frames come with a limited lifetime replacement warranty for the original owner.
    3) I am 6’7", and I ride a 23" frame. A 23" frame will be too big for a person that is just 6’0" tall.
    4) Wheel size isn’t that important, but you should go for at least the standard 26" and consider a 29er or 69er. Don’t get a MTB with 24" wheels.

And, just for your information, I ride a 62 cm road bike which might be a little small for me. But, it is hard to get a standard frame as 64 cm without waiting for months.

You should have a frame that would be able to handle your weight? Try asking at the store what they would recommend for you? Hope my answer was helpful?

I think it has something to do with measuring your inside leg…

try this site it has a guide but its a british site not sure where your from or if it makes a difference:

Have a look at this guide [1] and then ask us again if you need.

depends on the manufacturer but as rule a 19 or 20 inch frame should suit you. I can’t stress enough the importance of trying before you buy, go to a good local bike shop (not a supermarket or toy shop) and they’ll be able to ensure you get the right size.

  7. Depends on the bike.

I’d guess between 18 – 20 inch frame at your height but it also depends on your inside leg measurement.

    I’m 6’1" with a 34" inside leg and I have a 20" frame.

  8. The bike shop will help you with the correct size. You need to measure your actual inseam amd X .59 to get the correct size frame. You also want to have 2 – 4 inch of clearance when standing over the top tube. Bicycle sizes vary between manufactures so the size may vary a little and you want to get fitted for each brand.
