hi all i am after some advice i have just bought a mountain bike and i am a little worried about it holding my weight.
i am approx 25 stone and would like advice on the strongest type of tyres tubes and chain on a fairly tight budget any sensible advice would be gratefully appreciated.
for those thinking of being offensive at least i am trying to do something about my weight

I got a Trek 8000 Police bike in a government auction. The only thing it needs is new tires and tubes. Tire size is 26 x 2.1 and I can get them at Wal-Mart but the tubes are unlike anything I've seen before. The valve stem is half the size of a regular stem and it has some sort of thing blocking where the air goes in. Wal-Mart only had the regular tubes so should I just drill the hole in the wheel to fit a regular tube or look elsewhere?
