What company makes better bikes? Schwinn or Norco?

    It depends on where you want to ride. You want to go to the local bike shops and ask questions and look at the different bikes. You can find the lower end hybrid and mountain bikes in that price range. Don’t be afraid to ask for a test ride even if it’s outside your price range. You can look for an older used version if you really like the bike.

    Please stay away from from department and sports store bikes. They are manufactured for the price and not quality.

    I had never heard of Norco, so I looked them up. They sell quality bikes and are way out of your price range.You won’t find them at your local Walmart.
    Schwinn used to be the all American kids bike. But years ago was sold to a Chinese company.Schwinn still does make some quality bikes. But they don’t come cheap.
    I’d go to a local bike shop and see what they have in your price range. You should be able to get a entry level mountain bike for $350.
    I’d stay away from Walmart bikes though. They’re junk.

    Norco is pretty good. Schwinn was very good a few years ago until it got sold and then they moved their lines to cheap bikes.
