Have seen Airnimal, but a bit expensive and am having difficulty locating alternatives!

Dahon makes one called the Fuego. Link below.

I don’t think you can find an "inexpensive" folding mountain bike. You are paying for several different technologies that are not cheap. Who would want to ride a "cheap" folding mtn. bike, right? Seems scary.

    Good luck!

  2. I’d never heard of one til this question. Given that a full suspension bike serves a purpose entirely different to that of a folding bike, I do have to wonder whats the point!

I’d love to go flying down singletrack and have my bike fold up under me ;)

EDIT: wow they really DO exist! Mind you, thats an awful lot of money for a bike! I wonder just how much abuse it would take before the locking mechanism fell to pieces…

    I agree with ashypoo.

Do not know what for you need a full suspension bike that folds. Where are you going top ride it? What kind or riding are you interested in? Most likely a folding bike with double suspension will not be the best choice for a folding bike and it use.
And, a full suspension bike that folds does not seem to be the best answer to ride hard in the trails.

In my opinion, I would set my riding priorities / or needs and then buy a bike according to them.

  4. I know hummer makes one, but I believe its rather expensive itself.

  5. yeah i remember seeing the hummer FS folding bike at sams club. i think it was like 400. check these out. they aren’t FS though http://www.hummerbikes.com/

  6. Wow.. I didn’t think you would find one. Anyway, why do you want one? I think that even if it didn’t break or anything, it wouldn’t be a very strong frame and flex in other ways than what the suspension is made for.
