What is the best value full suspension or hardtail mountain bike under £500?
I have decided it's time to upgrade the bike i ride. I go riding in the forest near my home, and often try some small jumps, but also use it for cycling from place to place. However i only have a small budget (under £500) so i'm just asking for advice, or any bargains that you may have stumbled across lately. You wont get a decent full suspension bike for that amount of money. You will be better off with a good hard tail bike. The cheap full-suspension bikes are very heavy and eat up energy like a sponge.

Check out the second hand bikes, but make sure you read everything carefully! You can get a decent bike for £500 second hand.
