What Is The Differance In GT Bikes?

I would like to know the different between in GT Bikes?

I want to buy a GT freestyle bike and i see GT Air, GT Calafia, GT Compe, GT El Centro, GT El Centro 16, GT Performer, GT Slammer, GT Zone......But they all look the same and more cost more than others

I like the GT Zone, GT Air And GT Performer?
Can u tell me the differance?

    They look the same but some of the frames are made from different materials. Steel, Cromoly and aluminum. The price difference is due to the parts the bike is equiped with. Often 3 piece cranks and better wheelsets change the price quite a bit. example generic hubs on a lower model Shimano hubs on the costly one..
    The higher the price the better(or perceived to be) the components.
