Recently, the idea of biking has become quite appealing and I was thinking of purchasing one. I've always been fairly good on a bike, and i own a regular one that you can buy at Canadian Tire right now, but it's really old and a piece of junk and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what type of bike to buy. I would like one that would be beginner/intermediate friendly, also, the cost, if possible. Thanks!

What’s best for you is quite hard to define easily. Consider the following that applies to your situation:
i. Know how to learn to ride a mountain bike!
ii. Have all the right equipment!
iii. Climb difficult mountains!
iv. Have an extremely enjoyable hobby!
v. How to avoid injuries!
vi. And much, much more!
Check out my website for a great book that will detail all the information you need. Look in the "Cycling" cagagory.
